This study presents the imputed SNP profiles from genotyping-by-sequencing of the accession parents of the SeeD GWAS testcross panel. The positions in the VCF files have been mapped against version 4 of the maize genome. The imputation was performed using the Beagle software.
This dataset consists of Result of Grain Analysis for the 95 on-farm field trial sites x 2 varieties (Hybrid and OPV) x 6 treatments (Control, PK, NK, NP, NPK, NPK+S+Ca+Mg+Zn+B) . The dataset is divided into six sheets; Metadata, variable, Sites information, Raw Data, Data Summary and Data History. 'Metadata' give summary description of the dataset. 'Variables' give the name, unit, description and method of determination of the variables in the dataset. 'Site information' gives description of the study and sampling sites, 'Raw Data' contain the raw dataset, Data summary gives the summary statistics of each of measured variable in the raw dataset. And 'Data History' describe the historical changes and exchange in the raw dataset.
This dataset consists of Result of NOT for the 95 on-farm field trial sites x 2 varieties (Hybrid and OPV) x 6 treatments (Control, PK, NK, NP, NPK, NPK+S+Ca+Mg+Zn+B). The dataset is divided into eight sheets; Metadata, Variable, Sites information, Timing Parameters, Yield Parameters, Grain Yield Data Summary and Data History. 'Metadata' give summary description of the dataset. 'Variables' give the name, unit, description and method of determination of the variables in the dataset. 'Site information' gives description of the study and sampling sites. 'Timing Parameters' contain the data for various agronomic timing activities and management history of the sites. 'Yield Parameters' contain yield harvesting parameters (yield) of OPV and Hybrid set of trials. 'Grain Yield Data summary' gives the summary statistics of grain yield across the six treatments for both OPV and Hybrid set of trials.'Data History' describe the historical changes and exchange in the raw dataset. More details can be requested.

This dataset contains information from variety calibration trials in four locations (BUK, Dambatta, Samaru and Lere). The data was collected from two separate sets of experiments. Experiment 1 was under full irrigation conducted from 23rd March to 20th June 2016 across the four locations. Experiment 2 was conducted in the rainy season with supplementary irrigation from 23rd June to 10th November 2016. The data presented here is for the dry season trials. Details can be requested.
This dataset contains information from on-farm validation trials conducted across 30 farmer fields in Local government areas of the northern guinea savanna AEZ in Kano. In each farmer field 10 plots (30 meter square each) were planted with a different combination of early maturing maize (10 varieties) under 3 different sowing densities. Each plot is a different combination of variety and sowing data. Data was collected on tops weight at anthesis, cob yield and stover yield.
The file contains on-farm and on-station agronomy data sets generated in Eastern and Southern Africa between 2010 and 2016 under the Sustainable Intensification of Maize-Legume systems in Eastern and Southern Africa (SIMLESA) project. The five countries involved were Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi and Mozambique. The experimental trials tested the performance of various Conservation Agriculture based maize-legume intercrops or rotations relative to the commonly practiced conventional till farmer practice systems. In most of the tested cropping systems, the conventional farmer practice involved tillage using the moldboard plough, the manual hand hoe or in some cases the ridge and furrow system. Conservation Agriculture involved reduced soil disturbance, provision of soil cover and the use of leguminous crop rotations or intercrops. Crop establishment techniques involved hoe prepared planting basins or stations, ripping using animal traction, direct seeding using the dibble stick, jab planters, or animal traction direct seeding equipment. Crop management in terms of planting date, plant populations, fertilization, pest and weed control, were similar across all tested cropping systems. Experiments were mostly run in the same locations over the seven year period in order to also get an understanding of how the systems performance changed over time. On-station data has 43 variables and 1114 observations On-farm data has 43 variables and 5242 observations

This dataset consists of community-level variables for 98 communities in northern Nigeria. These data are associated, by location, with the household-level data also collected under the APS (Agronomic Panel Survey) for the same areas and time period.
